Us teenagers go through a lot. Sometimes it might feel like your alone and no one understands you, but trust me you are not alone. Your teen years are probably the most emotional years of your life! One of the biggest teenage problems are self-esteem.
When we think of pretty, we think of what we see on TV and in magazines. This type of pretty makes us think that we have to look like this to be considered attractive. We need to know that there are so many different types of beauty than the stereotypical "pretty" that we see on television. Everyone is the definition of beauty because we are beautiful in our own way.

Teen Relationships
When teens date, probably after a couple weeks most teens tend to think they are in "love". This "love" usually blinds us from seeing the bad in our relationships. I'm sure in the back of our heads we've thought, "This is not going to last forever" or "What if we go our separate ways after this school year" and sometimes we might even think, "What if he cheats on me?". We usually keep these thoughts in back of our heads because we're afraid of losing the one we love the most.
In my opinion if you are going to date at a young age you should be friends with your crush for a LONG time. Just being friends first will make a HUGE difference. When you are ready to date make sure you TRUST your boyfriend and you must be honest or everything will go completely wrong! Also make sure on your first date you're not too flirty because it might send of the wrong vibe and he might want to take advantage of you instead of love you.
I hope you all have an amazing and healthy relationship!

You are SO BEAUTIFUL!
You know how you look in the mirror but you can't really see yourself? Well, you see yourself but it's hard to tell what you would look like from someone else's prospective.
When we look in the mirror we usually look over our flaws. Mostly because we don't like them and we don't want them there. But picture if that flaw was gone, I know you're probably thinking, "That would be awesome!!", but you have flaws to remind you that you are YOU. Without them your face would be pretty boring. So if you have moles, freckles, bright red hair, big nose, big eyes, bushy eyebrows, etc. YOU ARE SO BEAUTIFUL AND DON'T FORGET IT!!

Do You Compare Yourself to Others?
Do you ever notice that you compare yourself to others? Well if you do it's completely normal, but you shouldn't do it. When I was in sixth and seventh grade I had a HORRIBLE problem with this. I would always compare myself with beautiful celebrities and hope that I would someday look like them. As I moved on to eighth grade I learned that you will NEVER look like the person you want to look like, but you will ALWAYS look like yourself. In my opinion, that's the person you should want to look like.

Every school has them!
Don't you hate those girls or guys at school who just can't SHUT UP! It seems like they have to be the center of attention at ALL times! I remember class periods where the teacher couldn't even teach due to these children! What makes it worse is the students being rude and annoying knew that that teacher's husband had just died and the only reason she taught was to get away from the pain and not be so lonely. Its horrible how some kids are so stuck up and don't even care that there are other students in the classroom trying to learn! I mean I'm not saying I'm a strait 'A' student but I still want to be able to have class!

Why cant we ALL be treated the SAME?
These days us teens live in a world where we are judged CONSTANTLY. We're judged by what we wear, how we look, how we do things, and not to long ago I was judged by how I speak!
Sometimes I ask myself " Why do these things matter? Why can't we all be treated the same, while having our differences?". It seems like we have to look a certain way to be accepted into our society. But as teens why don't we all just stick together and accept each others differences because most of us are going through the same things.
I think we can fix this problem by a simple act of kindness, it will stop a lot of drama and hate. Just a simple complement to someone who is having a bad day, even someone who is having a good day because they may look happy on the outside but you never know what's going on in the inside. Coming together as teens will make a world of a difference! Just think, would you want your child living living in a society like this?
